John Bloom
Its first owner, John Bloom was a high profile English businessman from the 50'/60's .
He was the English King of washing machines and razors through his holding, the Rolls Razor Company.
John Bloom not only loved beautiful cars, his highly fashion parties in his London Palace were so famous that the young Beatles
and David Bowie used to perform in private and dance with his lovely wife.
Hopefully we will find one day another famous picture of John Lennon, or Ringo Starr, this time being driven in this beautiful Bentley.
When new that Bentley was a S2 model with only 2 lights in the front. The year after, in 1962, Bentley launched the S3 model, with 4 headlights later
described as the « chinese eyes »
Bloom was right to believe these 4 eyes fitted better these convertible palaces, so he rushed to Bentley to have his car turned into the 4 lights S3.
Bloom later sold the car to Russ Conway a famous english artist who kept it until he died.
Ownership
Initially owned by a high profile businessman of the 50's and 60's, namely Mr John Bloom himself who empire included the 'Rolls Razor' Company
and the Electromatic Washing Machine Company, and late popular and highly successful pianist Russ Conway.
Not only has it been owned by very high profile people, the Bentley has a very intriguing and interesting Bloom bought the Bentley new and
sent it back to the factory to have it changed to a Rolls Royce S3 because you couldn't buy a Rolls Royce Chinese Eye at the time.
The after John Bloom and Russ Conway ownership the car was purchased by the managing Director of Bristol Motor Cars.
He had it converted LHD and took the car to America.
The car was purchased by Wren Renovations (Bentley&RollsRoyce specialist) and brought back to the UK changed it back to its original state as a Bentley.

SII to SIII
This car is a 1961 SII Continental Park Ward DHC with the appearance of a 1962-63 SIII Continental Mulliner Park Ward DHC.
All of these cars were fitted with bodies built by four coachbuilders (H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward & Co, James Young, and Hooper & Co).
