1987 Mercedes 500 SL only 100k km - excellent condition throughout

Due to a lack of parking space, I unfortunately need to part from my 1987 Mercedes 500 SL.
The car is truly in excellent condition, finished in one of the nicest original OEM colour combinations: pacific blue metallic (code 929) exterior paint with a full leather light grey interior (code 278).
The car was first registered in 1987 and has only 101,000km on the clock and has been maintained with care and attention throughout its life.


The car has recently undergone a full service by Terrijn Classics in Belgium, the’ specialist in Mercedes 107 / SLs and is a real joy to drive, whether open top or closed. Pulls hard, shifts smoothly and breaks well, as a 500SL should.
During this last service, the injection system had a full makeover and all other parts reviewed, resulting in a clean technical control sheet (performed just 2 weeks ago on 2/12/2025).

  • Genuine European / French spec car, imported into the US in 1987, re-imported into Europe by myself in 2017
