Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Coupé (1968)
This 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Coupé is a well-preserved example of the W111 series, presented in maintained condition following cosmetic and mechanical work carried out approximately six years ago. The car was originally sourced from the Netherlands and is currently part of a Belgian private collection.
Around six years ago, the car received a repaint in its original colour, along with a renewed interior executed in line with factory specifications. Mechanical systems were addressed at the same time, resulting in a car that starts readily and drives smoothly. Since then, the car has been maintained with regular use in mind.
The paintwork presents well, with bright chrome and exterior trim consistent with careful ownership. The interior reflects the earlier refurbishment and offers a clean and correct environment in keeping with the model’s original character.
This 280 SE Coupé combines the restrained design of Mercedes-Benz’s late-1960s grand touring cars with mechanical specification suited to comfortable road use.
