The Mercedes 280SL Pagoda is one of the most iconic and desirable classic sports cars ever built. Introduced as part of the W113 series in the 1960s, the Pagoda earned its nickname from its distinctive concave hardtop, designed by Béla Barényi to improve roof strength and passenger safety.


Unlike many sports cars of its era, the Pagoda was engineered with durability and everyday usability in mind. Built during a period when Mercedes-Benz was known for over-engineering its cars, the W113 models developed a reputation for outstanding reliability.

The car is presented in its original and highly desirable color combination of dark blue with a cognac leather interior, a specification that perfectly complements the Pagoda’s elegant lines.

For enhanced driving comfort, the car is fitted with a ZF 5-speed gearbox, making it more relaxed and enjoyable at modern cruising speeds. Importantly, the original matching-numbers 4-speed manual gearbox is included.
