Oak Green Metallic 1992 Porsche 964 Turbo
The final generation of the legendary 911 Turbo offered with pure rear-wheel drive. Before the arrival of the all-wheel-drive Turbo models that followed, the 964 Turbo retained the raw, engaging character that defined Porsche’s most iconic performance cars.
While visually reminiscent of its predecessor, the 964 Turbo introduced significant technical improvements over the earlier 930. Power comes from the single turbo 3.3-liter flat-six, now equipped with an updated Bosch Motronic fuel injection and a larger KKK K27-7200 turbocharger, delivering stronger performance and improved drivability. The chassis was also completely modernized: the 964 replaced the 930’s antiquated torsion bar suspension with a coil-sprung McPherson strut system, dramatically improving handling precision, ride comfort, and high-speed stability. To ensure maximum driving fun, the car was fitted with a 40% limited slip differential as standard.
This particular example is presented in the exceptionally elegant Oak Green Metallic, paired with a black leather interior. A rare and highly desirable color combination that perfectly suits the 964’s muscular design. The car was delivered new in Germany, where it remained for most of its life. It still retains its original German ownership book, documenting all owners up to 2004.
The car is 100% accident free and fully matching numbers. 90% of the paint is still first paint, with only the front bumper and front trunk lid resprayed in the past due to stone chips. An honest and transparent sign of careful use rather than restoration.
Factory highlights include the highly desirable Oak Green Metallic paint, no sunroof, leather sport seats, optional sound package, and the 40% limited slip differential. The car is also accompanied by the Speedline wheels and is currently fitted with adjustable Bilstein coilovers, enhancing both stance and driving dynamics.
Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. In 2019, at 156,414 km, the engine underwent a complete rebuild, with all invoices present. Today the car shows just over 160,000 km and benefits from a very complete service history across its lifetime. Before the sale the car will get a check up and service.
