De Ferrari 550 Maranello behoort tot dat zeldzame type Ferrari dat met de jaren alleen maar meer respect afdwingt. Een pure gran turismo uit een tijdperk waarin Ferrari zijn V12 opnieuw vooraan in de neus plaatste precies zoals Enzo Ferrari het ooit bedoeld had. Lange motorkap, gespierde achterzijde, handgeschakelde versnellingsbak en een atmosferische twaalfcilinder die elke rit bijzonder maakt.
Deze Ferrari 550 werd op 13 april 2001 nieuw geleverd in België door Garage Francorchamps.
De uitvoering is bijzonder stijlvol: Argento Nürburgring, een elegante zilvertint die de lijnen van de 550 perfect benadrukt, gecombineerd met een zwart lederen interieur met Daytona-zetels. Een klassieke Ferrari-configuratie die tegelijk sportief en tijdloos aanvoelt. Het interieur ademt nog steeds die typische Ferrari-sfeer van begin jaren 2000: puur, mechanisch en volledig gericht op de bestuurder.
Wat deze wagen extra aantrekkelijk maakt voor de liefhebber, is de volledige documentatie. De originele boordmap, alle originele boekjes, het onderhoudsboekje én de code cards zijn aanwezig. Details die het verhaal van de wagen compleet maken en voor verzamelaars bijzonder belangrijk zijn.
Ook technisch werd er zorgvuldig met de wagen omgegaan. Sinds 2008 werd de Ferrari niet meer ingeschreven, waardoor hij slechts sporadisch werd gebruikt. Ondanks dat beperkte gebruik kreeg de wagen wél het onderhoud dat een Ferrari verdient. Zowel in 2013 als in 2021 werd een groot onderhoud uitgevoerd waarbij de distributieriem werd vervangen.
Tijdens het onderhoud in 2021 werden bovendien de bekende Ferrari sticky buttons professioneel aangepakt, zodat het interieur opnieuw in perfecte staat verkeert.
Daarnaast zijn er geen rode vlaggen in het officiële Ferrari-systeem, wat extra gemoedsrust geeft.
Voor aflevering wordt deze Ferrari 550 Maranello opnieuw voorzien van een groot onderhoud inclusief nieuwe distributieriem, zodat de volgende eigenaar meteen zorgeloos kan genieten van een van de meest geliefde V12 Ferrari’s van de moderne klassiekers.
De 550 Maranello is vandaag misschien wel de laatste Ferrari die perfect de balans vindt tussen klassiek en modern: analoog rijden, een manuele versnellingsbak, en de majestueuze soundtrack van een atmosferische V12 voorin.

La Ferrari 550 Maranello appartient à ce type rare de Ferrari qui, avec l’âge, inspire le respect. Un pur gran turismo d’une époque où Ferrari a repositionné son V12 à l’avant du nez, exactement comme Enzo Ferrari l’avait prévu. Un long capot, un arrière musclé, une boîte de vitesses manuelle et un 12 cylindres atmosphérique qui rend chaque conduite spéciale.
Cette Ferrari 550 a été livrée neuve en Belgique par le Garage Francorchamps le 13 avril 2001.
La finition est particulièrement élégante : Argento Nürburgring, une élégante teinte argentée qui souligne parfaitement les lignes de la 550, associée à un intérieur en cuir noir avec des sièges Daytona. Une configuration Ferrari classique, à la fois sportive et intemporelle. L’intérieur dégage toujours cette atmosphère typique des Ferrari du début des années 2000 : pure, mécanique et totalement axée sur le conducteur.
Ce qui rend cette voiture encore plus attrayante pour l’amateur, c’est la documentation complète. La pochette d’origine, tous les livrets d’origine, le livret d’entretien et les cartes de code sont présents. Détails qui complètent l’histoire de la voiture et qui sont particulièrement importants pour les collectionneurs.
Sur le plan technique, la voiture a également été manipulée avec soin. Depuis 2008, la Ferrari n’est plus immatriculée et n’est donc plus utilisée que sporadiquement. Malgré cette utilisation limitée, la voiture a reçu l’entretien qu’une Ferrari mérite. Un grand entretien a été effectué en 2013 et en 2021, au cours duquel la courroie de distribution a été remplacée.
En outre, lors de l’entretien 2021, les célèbres « boutons collants » de Ferrari ont été traités de manière professionnelle, ce qui a permis de remettre l’intérieur en parfait état.
En outre, le système officiel Ferrari ne comporte pas de drapeaux rouges, ce qui renforce la tranquillité d’esprit.
