This Porsche 911 2.7 MFI is a genuine classic equipped with Porsche’s renowned Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI). This fully mechanical system ensures precise fuel delivery to each cylinder resulting in direct throttle response and better performance than carburettors.

The 2.7 litre engine is derived from the legendary 911 Carrera RS model which remains one of Porsche’s most iconic sports cars. The MFI system comes directly from Porsche’s motorsport development and offers an exceptional driving experience and efficiency for its time.

This particular unit was originally delivered new to France and has been in Belgium since 2008. In December 2008 the car was fully restored and refurbished after which all subsequent maintenance was meticulously documented. For example the rubbers were renewed in 2012 and the fuel pump was replaced in 2022.

Nice detail: although the 2.7 MFI was more luxurious than its predecessor it weighs exactly the same as a 2.7 RS Touring ensuring the legendary power to weight balance was maintained.

De 2.7-liter motor is afgeleid van het legendarische 911 Carrera RS-model, een van Porsche’s meest iconische sportwagens. Het MFI-systeem komt rechtstreeks uit de autosportontwikkeling van Porsche en biedt een uitzonderlijke rijervaring en efficiëntie voor zijn tijd.

Dit specifiek exemplaar werd oorspronkelijk nieuw geleverd in Frankrijk en bevindt zich sinds 2008 in België. In december 2008 is de wagen volledig gerestaureerd en opgeknapt waarbij het onderhoud nadien nauwgezet is gedocumenteerd. Zo zijn de rubbers in 2012 vernieuwd en is de brandstofpomp in 2022 vervangen.
