THE 964The 964 is the perfect mix between a classic 911 with everyday creature comforts. When introduced in 1989, the iconic lines of the original 911 remained largely intact, but 85% of the car was brand new. The electric rear spoiler for example, but also modern technology like ABS and power steering. The then new 3.6l engine produces an impressive 250 horsepower. This makes the 964 still pretty quick for today's standards.
THIS 964 Carrera 4This beautifully presented and well-preserved 964 Carrera 4 was originally delivered to the German market in 1990
as a so called 'Werkauslieferung'; the famous factory delivery.
Finished in the rare and elegant Linen Grey Metallic over Black leatherette, it boasts a particularly attractive and classic specification. The options list is purposeful and well chosen, including air conditioning, a sunroof and those lovely turbo sport seats
The car has been consistently and carefully maintained throughout its life. The original service book contains dealer stamps, while a comprehensive history file documents its continued care up to the present day. The full history of service and ownership can be traced back to the very beginning.
Originally delivered in Germany, the car was acquired by its second owner in 1997 in the Netherlands. In 2005, it passed to its third owner before arriving in the hands of its current custodian in 2020, who continued its meticulous upkeep. The car is now offered up for sale on his behalf.
So a genuine example with a very well-documented and clean European history.
The paintwork was partially refreshed in the past and today presents in very good condition. Importantly, the car retains its original front and rear body panels, complete with factory stickers, confirming that it has never suffered accident damage.
Thanks to careful ownership, the interior shows only light signs of use, reflecting both the inherent quality of the 964 and the attention it has received over the years. The seats, door panels, dashboard, switches, and trim all present very well, with only minimal wear visible.
A substantial file of invoices accompanies the car. No expense has been spared in recent years and everything’s recorded in the invoices and service records. Part of these recent records include: new Bilstein shock absorbers, new Blaupunkt DAB radio, major service, wheel alignement, 993 engine supports, starter motor, brakes, tyres, aircon repair & service and more... Most importantly, a top end rebuild was performed at 190.000km's.
It currently sits on its original Cup wheels and fitted with Michelin N’-coded tyres.
