Lotus Evora S GP Edition – One of only 25 examples ever produced worldwide.
This Lotus Evora S GP Edition is one of only 25 examples ever built to celebrate Lotus' success during the 2012 Formula One season.
According to the recognised Lotus GP Edition Registry, production consisted of 14 US-specification cars, 4 Canadian-specification cars, 3 UK-specification cars and only 4 European-specification (EU) cars. This makes this example one of only four EU-specification cars ever produced, making it one of the rarest modern Lotus road cars.
Finished in the iconic black and gold John Player Special-inspired livery, the GP Edition pays tribute to the legendary Lotus Formula One cars of the 1970s and 1980s, while also celebrating the 2012 Lotus F1 Team. Exclusive features include red accents on the front splitter, door mirrors and rear diffuser, together with Kimi Räikkönen's signature on the front access panel.
The interior is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara with contrasting red stitching, embroidered Lotus logos on the headrests and the distinctive GP Edition detailing. The car rides on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged alloy wheels, complemented by red brake calipers.
This particular example was delivered new in Belgium by Lotus Verhiest and has been exclusively maintained by the supplying dealer ever since. It has covered only 7,950 km from new (verified mileage) and benefits from a complete service history.
The car has had only two private owners, and we recently acquired it from its second owner.
A major service has just been completed by Lotus Verhiest, including the replacement of the timing belt.
In addition, the car has been fitted with four brand-new tyres less than one month ago.
Presented in exceptional collector-grade condition, this is undoubtedly one of the finest and rarest Evora S GP Editions available anywhere in the world.
The vehicle is available for viewing in our showroom in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, approximately 30 minutes south of Brussels.
