BACKGROUND
The 993 is widely regarded as the pinnacle of the air-cooled 911, the last generation built before water-cooling and the first to combine the classic flat-six character with a modern multi-link rear axle. This is a first-model-year example, built and delivered in 1994, which makes it one of the earliest 993 Carreras on the road.
Power comes from the 3.6-litre M64/05 flat-six producing 272 hp, driving the rear wheels through the desirable G50/21 short-ratio six-speed manual gearbox. This is the pre-Varioram specification, the rawer, more mechanical early 993 engine, and it is paired here with a limited-slip differential (220) and skips the sunroof for more rigidity.
ABOUT THIS CAR
The car was delivered new in Padua in May 1994 and has been maintained exclusively within the Italian Porsche network ever since. It was always owned by careful brand enthusiasts, and never left its native Italy until 2026. The vehicle was thoroughly serviced ahead of sale in 2026, including the fitment of brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Cosmetically the car presents in the iconic Polar Silver Metallic (L92M), a discreet shade of grey that suits the 993's smooth and aerodynamic bodywork. Inside, the red flamenco leather interior (QQ) lifts the cabin and pairs with a leather four-spoke airbag steering wheel (X26), air conditioning (573), and a Hi-Fi sound package (490). With just 54,000 km from new and an original stamped booklet, this is a turn-key 993 in one of the most charismatic configurations out there.
