1979 Volkswagen T2 Westfalia SO73 – Original German Collector’s Camper
A rare opportunity to own a genuine, German-built 1979 Volkswagen T2 Westfalia SO73.
We have proudly owned this beautiful Westfalia for the past seven years, and it has been an absolute pleasure. During its lifetime it has had just one previous owner, with most of its kilometres accumulated on leisurely journeys between Belgium and the family’s holiday home in France.

Sadly, due to a change in our financial circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to part with our beloved Westy.
Original, unrestored examples of this quality are becoming increasingly scarce. Finding another 1979 Westfalia with this level of originality, ownership history and structural integrity will be extremely difficult.
If you appreciate authenticity rather than restoration, this camper deserves your inspection.

One suggestion that could make the advert even stronger is to add a short section listing recent mechanical work, for example:
- New tyres
- New brakes
- Engine serviced
- New battery
- Recent Belgian inspection
- Any upgrades you’ve made
I would also avoid stating that it is “worth €45,000.” Instead, let the condition and photos justify the asking price. It tends to come across as more confident and gives buyers less to argue with during negotiations.
