The high-voltage battery (ESS) is defective and requires repair or replacement. The vehicle was inspected by an official Tesla workshop in November 2025. Tesla proposed a complete Roadster 3.0 Upgrade as the repair solution, with an official quotation of €36,876 excluding VAT. The quotation is available and will be provided with the vehicle.
It is important to note that this quotation is not for a like-for-like repair of the existing battery, but for Tesla’s Roadster 3.0 Upgrade Program. For the quoted €36,876 excluding VAT, the existing battery is replaced with a brand-new Roadster 3.0 battery and the vehicle is upgraded from Roadster 2.0/2.5 to 3.0 specification.
The vehicle comes with an extensive documented history and service records, including work carried out by Tesla. In 2018, the 400V HV Controller Assembly was replaced by Tesla Vienna following an HV isolation fault. In 2019, a major service was carried out at 56,256 km, including replacement of the front shock absorbers, four-wheel alignment and a PEM diagnostic.
Despite the current ESS battery defect, this is an extensively documented Tesla Roadster 2.5 with Roadster Sport upgrades and a fully traceable ownership and mileage history.
Asking price: €59,500 incl. VAT (€49,173.55 excl. VAT).
The vehicle is sold and invoiced by a Belgian company. VAT is deductible for eligible VAT-registered buyers.
