The Ford OSI was the result of a unique collaboration between Ford Germany and the Italian coachbuilder Officine Stampaggi Industriali (OSI). Created in 1965 by Sergio Sartorelli,it embodied Ford's desire to revitalize its image with a sporty model boasting a refined appearance. Its brief production run, spanning 1967 to 1968, resulted in fewer than 3,500 units being built. The Ford OSI was based on the Ford 20M, borrowing both its chassis and its V6 engines (2.0 and 2.3 liters). It had no true direct predecessor or successor.
