Dit is de Fiat 1500 S, uitgerust met de legendarische 1491 cc OSCA-motor met dubbele nokkenas, gecombineerd met de elegante carrosserie ontworpen en gebouwd door Pininfarina.
- Deze Fiat 1500S is voorzien van matching numbers en is klaar voor zorgeloos gebruik. De motor is gereviseerd, het linnen dak is in goede staat, het gehele hydraulische remcircuit is vernieuwd, en nieuwe banden zijn gemonteerd,
De Osca motor, ontwikkeld door de Maserati-broers ,(Officine Specializzate Costruzione Automobili),

Dit is geen standaard klassieke Fiat, maar een uitzonderlijk zeldzame en zeer authentieke 1e Reeks Fiat 1500 S Spider OSCA. Dit specifieke exemplaar is een felbegeerd, laat model uit de eerste serie. Dankzij de productie in de overgangsperiode is deze auto af fabriek uitgerust met schijfremmen rondom (4 wielen), de zeldzame originele passagiers-voetsteun en een prachtig Nardi-stuurwiel en de felbegeerde Borrani spaakwielen.
Met zijn pure Pininfarina 'baby Ferrari'-lijnen en een rasecht Maserati-racehart, vertegenwoordigt deze OSCA het absolute hoogtepunt van Italiaanse sportwagens uit de vroege jaren '60.
Belangrijkste hoogtepunten en specificaties:
- Het legendarische OSCA-hart: Uitgerust met de originele 1.491 cc twin-cam (DOHC) motor, ontworpen door de gebroeders Maserati. Ongeveer 6 jaar / 8.000 km geleden volledig gereviseerd. De motor start, loopt en presteert perfect, met die onmiskenbare, felle OSCA-sound.
- Historisch correct plaatwerk: De onderkant heeft recent professionele aandacht gehad om een kleine imperfecties aan te pakken. Cruciaal hierbij is dat het werk is uitgevoerd door een carrosseriespecialist die gebruik heeft gemaakt van de traditionele tin-methode (vertinnen). Hierdoor zijn de constructie en de historische correctheid van de carrosserie volledig behouden. Er is absoluut geen plamuur gebruikt.
- Superieure fabrieksspecificaties: In tegenstelling dat de vroege modellen uit 1959 met trommelremmen, beschikt deze latere variant over de fabrieksaf geleverde schijfremmen rondom. Dit zorgt voor aanzienlijk betere en veiligere remprestaties.
- Exclusieve interieurdetails: Het interieur is een droom voor de purist. De auto ademt originaliteit en beschikt over de zeldzame, originele chromen voetsteun voor de bijrijder (die bij veel restauraties verloren is gegaan) en een schitterend, historisch correct Nardi-stuurwiel rondom de klassieke Veglia-klokken.
- Puurheid in ontwerp: Als echte 1e Reeks heeft de auto de snaarstrakke, vlakke motorkap zonder luchthapper. Dit wordt door liefhebbers gezien als het meest elegante silhouet dat Pininfarina ooit voor dit chassis heeft getekend.
- Motor & Techniek: Uitstekend. GEREVISEERD !Volledig nagelopen, zeer weinig kilometers gereden sinds de totale revisie, en direct klaar voor toerritten of klassieke rally's. Voorzien van elektronische brandstofpomp en 123 ontsteking , verder alles orgineel .Carburator vernieuwd .
- Carrosserie & Chassis: Zeer solide en kleine imperfectie vakkundig hersteld met traditionele ambachtelijke technieken waar nodig.( VERTINT !!)
- Nieuwe stalen uitlaat op maat, ook brandstoftank en radiator verneuwd.
- Volledig remsysteem vernieuwd .
- Interieur: Zeer correct, voorzien van een prachtige patina en compleet met alle zeldzame fabrieksdetails.

This Fiat 1500 S features matching numbers and is ready for trouble-free use. The engine has been overhauled, the soft top is in good condition, the entire hydraulic braking system has been renewed, and new tires have been fitted.
The OSCA engine—developed by the Maserati brothers (Officine Specializzate Costruzione Automobili)—incorporates advanced technical features that were well ahead of their time, including a high-performance cylinder head and precision-engineered mechanical components. This makes the engine not only a masterpiece of engineering but also a symbol of heritage and performance.
In 1957, the brothers sold the design to Fiat, as they lacked the capital to fund series production themselves. Fiat produced the engine as the "Tipo 118" and commissioned Pininfarina to design the bodywork. A version of this same engine powered the car that won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1954, with Stirling Moss behind the wheel.
