Offered here is one of the most desirable Impreza ever built — a genuine homologation special, the Subaru Impreza GC8 MY00 STi Type RA Version 6 Limited.
Imported directly from Japan via USS auction house (using a JDM Import Specialist agent), and owned by me for over 6 years. I am the second owner.
The STi Type RA Version 6 Limited produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and was limited to 2000 units, however since it was made on a ‘’built to order’’ base for homologation purposes, the total number of produced vehicles is 1577. The listed car is number #1563 which makes it one of the very last that came out of the production line.
The Type RA model stands for “Record Attempt” that focuses on being a fully-fledged rally model. As a homologation special, this rare, lightweight machine is a collectors' item, boasting authentic rally DNA and offers incredible raw driving experience in its iconic Sonic Blue finish.
