I hereby offer this exceptionally elegant BMW 640i Convertible for sale.
I personally spent a long time searching for this particular example. This car is equipped with many rare options, such as a heated leather steering wheel and ventilated seats.
The car is also equipped with a 360-degree camera and parking sensors. One thing I specifically did not want was xDrive or air suspension, as these systems are known to occasionally fail and can be very expensive to repair. These are therefore the two major options this car does not have.
Overall, the car is in very good condition, although it is of course not brand new. After fifteen years and 178,000 kilometers, some signs of normal wear and use are to be expected. For example, the convertible roof shows slight fraying, and the wheels have minor curb rash.
One of the plastic dashboard air vent grilles is also damaged. This part is still available from BMW and can, if desired, be replaced by me with a brand-new original part.
I am selling the car because I am looking for an off-road vehicle. Next year, I plan to drive the Pan-American Highway, which unfortunately is not something I can do in this beautiful convertible.
I prefer a straightforward sale without part exchange, although I am open to proposals involving a Mercedes G-Class or a Land Rover Defender.
I have no issue selling the car internationally or to a dealer, although this does not automatically mean a substantial discount. If the car is too expensive for you as a dealer, then so be it.
Please do not ask for a lowest price or an export price. I will gladly welcome you in person next to the car, where we can take it for a test drive together, and afterwards I’ll be happy to offer you a nice cup of coffee.
